Release Highlights

Aspose.Font for .NET 25.2 (MSI) introduces new APIs that empower .NET developers to programmatically manipulate Name and String INDEX data in Compact Font Format (CFF) fonts. This release provides finer control over font internals to support advanced typography and branding workflows.

✳️ New Feature

  • Manage CFF Name and String INDEX
    You can now read, update, and remove records from CFF fonts using newly added NameIndexDataProvider and StringIndexDataProvider. These APIs simplify low-level font structure editing while offering precise byte-level access.

🔹 Public API Changes

  • New Additions:
    • ICffIndexDataProvider interface
    • NameIndexDataProvider class
    • StringIndexDataProvider class

These APIs introduce methods for:

  • Reading values from Name and String INDEX tables
  • Adding or replacing entries by index
  • Removing specific records
  • Working with raw byte sequences for deeper control

🚫 Backwards Incompatible Changes

  • No breaking changes were introduced.
    All enhancements are additive and do not modify existing APIs or behaviors, ensuring backward compatibility for existing projects.
