Description

This ZIP file contains only the Aspose.GIS for .NET assemblies. The assemblies are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version.

Release Highlights

The DLLs-only release of Aspose.GIS for .NET 25.2 introduces seamless conversion between standard coordinates and popular alternative geolocation systems such as GARS, Plus Code, and Maidenhead.

✳️ New Feature

  • Global Area Reference System (GARS):

    • Convert standard latitude/longitude to GARS codes and vice versa using GeoConvert API.
    • Suitable for military-grade GIS applications.

  • Google Plus Codes (OLC):

    • Easily convert between decimal coordinates and Plus Codes using PointFormats.PlusCode.

  • Maidenhead Grid Locator:

    • Added PointFormats.Maidenhead for encoding and decoding in grid-square systems commonly used in ham radio and scientific mapping.

  • No performance or behavior changes beyond format support.

  • No issues were resolved in this update.
