Aspose.OCR for .NET 24.12.0 delivers Mongolian text recognition, advanced memory optimization, and performance boosts for PDF generation.

✳️ New Feature

  • Mongolian Language OCR: Added support for recognizing Mongolian (Cyrillic) text using Language.Mon.
  • Result Container Class: New OcrOutput class introduced for flexible and optimized result handling (fully backward compatible).
  • Memory Management: New method Resources.ReleaseMemory() allows unloading OCR modules to free system memory.

🔧 Enhancement

  • Faster PDF Export: Saving recognition results to searchable PDFs is now significantly quicker.
  • Better PDF Layout: Improved calculation of line height for more accurate text rendering.

🛠 Fix

  • (No dedicated bug fixes announced for this release.)

⚠️ Deprecation Notice

❗ Deprecated APIs will be removed in January 2025 (v25.1.0):

  • Old Language Codes → Update to ISO-compliant values under Aspose.OCR.Language.
  • Country.UNIVERSAL → Replace with Country.NONE for disabling MRZ/passport parsing.
  • DetectAreasMode Legacy Values:
    • Deprecated: NONE, TEXT_IN_WILD, PHOTO, COMBINE, DOCUMENT
    • Use Instead: LEAN, UNIVERSAL, MULTICOLUMN
