Python developers can utilize Aspose.PDF for Python via .NET 24.2.0, which brings exciting new features and enhancements for upgrading PDF manipulation apps on Windows 64-bit (AMD64) systems.

New Features

We have introduced a number of new features in this release:

  • Easily extract vector data from PDF documents.
  • Programatically load DjVu and CDR format files within your Python PDF processing apps.
  • Provide a callback for HOCR text recognition with page reference.
  • Pass a page as an image to HOCR callback method for advanced control using Aspose.PDF for Python via .NET 24.2.0.
  • Extend options for PDF to Markdown conversion with image usage optimizations.
  • Convert searchable PDFs to XPS format while preserving the ability to select and copy text within the resulting XPS document.

Feature Enhancements

We have added feature enhancements in this release:

  • Improved accuracy for image extraction in PDF to Markdown conversion.
  • Greater control over page settings during HTML(CSS) to PDF conversion.
  • More precise control over comments’ review status in TextAnnotation.
  • Several improvements to the functionality of the document repair API.
  • Retrieving property values directly from Action Script code embedded within your documents.

Removed APIs

We have removed the following property from the public API in this release:

  • aspose.pdf.annotations.TextAnnotation.state
