Aspose.PSD for Java 23.4 introduces robust upgrades, including the new RawColor API for modern color management, porting of essential .NET functionalities, and improvements to licensing and smart filter support. It also resolves several text layer editing issues in Photoshop workflows.

Enhancements

  • Modern Licensing Integration The modern Aspose licensing system is now supported, enhancing activation and error diagnostics.

  • RawColor Class Support Introduced RawColor and ColorComponent APIs to replace the obsolete Color struct and allow precise bit-depth color manipulation.

  • .NET Functionality Ported to Java Key APIs like AnimatedDataSectionResource, PosterizeLayer, and smart filter manipulation are now available in the Java library.

Bug Fixes

  • Text Editing Accuracy
    • Fixed style and paragraph position errors when using ITextPortion.
    • Addressed incorrect results when editing text via Text Portions.
