Release Highlights

Aspose.PSD for .NET 25.2 introduces support for saving PSB files larger than 2GB, full editing of Noise Gradients in layer effects, and a rebuilt Drop Shadow engine for more accurate rendering.

✳️ New Feature

  • Save Large PSB Files: Added ability to save Photoshop Big (PSB) files exceeding 2GB, making the library suitable for high-resolution, layered graphics workflows.
  • Noise Gradient in Effects: Implemented handling and editing of Noise Gradient FillSettings within layer effects such as strokes.

🔧 Enhancement

  • Drop Shadow Redesign: Drop Shadow effect engine has been fully remade for precision and performance, eliminating rendering discrepancies.
  • Mask Processing Optimization: Significant performance improvements applied to mask reading and writing, especially in multi-layered documents.

🛠 Fix

  • Fixed shadow rendering failure in certain PSDs with blended or subtle shadow layers.
  • Resolved “Index outside bounds” exception when saving large PSB files (~1GB+), improving memory safety.
