Release Highlights

Aspose.Slides for .NET 24.9 focuses on improved document fidelity across PPTX-to-PDF, XPS, HTML5, and image conversion scenarios. This version also adds new animation effect aliases, advanced image compression options, and enhanced text extraction with comment support.

✳️ New Feature

  • Remove Cropped Areas from Images: New support to strip cropped image areas and set DPI during compression.
  • Comment Text Retrieval: Access slide comment text via ISlideText.CommentsText in text extraction.
  • Animation Aliases: New EffectType.FloatUp and FloatDown aliases simplify animation handling.

🔧 Enhancement

  • Text Extraction: PresentationFactory.GetPresentationText now includes comments and notes.
  • Improved Compatibility: Broader HTML5, XPS, and GIF conversion stability.

  • Removed API: Obsolete AddVideo(Stream stream) removed; use the overload with LoadingStreamBehavior.
