Release Highlights

Aspose.Words for .NET 24.10 (DLLs-only) introduces enhancements for ActiveX CommandButton insertion, shape visibility control, grouped shape operations, and formatting capabilities for Pie/Doughnut charts and Markdown tables.

  • Insert CommandButton ActiveX Controls
    Insert Forms2OleControl like CommandButtonControl using DocumentBuilder.InsertForms2OleControl().

  • Control Shape Visibility
    New Shape.Hidden property allows toggling shape visibility at runtime.

  • Group Individual or Nested Shapes
    Group ShapeBase objects or even combine Shape and GroupShape using new InsertGroupShape() overloads.

  • Export Tables as Raw HTML in Markdown
    Utilize MarkdownSaveOptions.ExportAsHtml to export tables in HTML format within Markdown output.

  • Pie & Doughnut Chart Formatting
    Set properties like FirstSliceAngle, DoughnutHoleSize, and SecondSectionSize via ChartSeriesGroup.
