Release Highlights

Aspose.ZIP for .NET 24.12 enhances support for legacy and modern archive formats by enabling the extraction of additional compression methods used in LHA and 7z files.

✳️ New Feature

  • Adaptive Huffman Compression in LHA:
    • Now supports extraction of LHA entries compressed using adaptive Huffman coding—a legacy algorithm used in Japanese and DOS-era LHA files.

🔧 Enhancement

  • 7z Delta Encoding Extraction:
    • Added support for extracting entries compressed using Delta encoding in 7z archives, which is commonly used for multimedia and binary differential data.
    • New enum value added:
      • SevenZipCompressionMethod.Delta: Represents Delta-coded files in a 7z archive stream.
