The DLLs-only release of Aspose.ZIP for .NET 24.9 focuses on event-driven architecture and performance visibility. It introduces progress tracking, event hooks, and deferred entry creation across a wide range of archive formats.

  • Archive Event Hooks for XAR & ISO:

    • Added new types including EventsBag, EntryEventArgs, and CancelEntryEventArgs to monitor and optionally cancel compression actions.
    • Enables advanced customization and diagnostics.

  • Compression & Extraction Progress APIs:

    • Progress event handlers now available for:
      • LzmaArchiveSettings.CompressionProgressed
      • ZArchiveLoadOptions.ExtractionProgressed
      • ZstandardSaveOptions.CompressionProgressed
      • Bzip2LoadOptions.ExtractionProgressed, and more.
    • Ideal for UI integrations or monitoring tools.

  • Lazy Stream Entry Creation:
